David Hughes, President & Senior Consultant, founded Confidata, Inc. in 2001. David has over 25 years of hands-on experience professionally configuring and supporting healthcare information systems. He founded Confidata to fill the gap left by the behemoth consulting firms. He states that “customized service through a collaborative approach with clients was missing”. Confidata fills the gap.

Prior to Confidata, David worked for major HIS vendors including McKesson, Siemens, Health Systems Design, and Humana in various roles developing and supporting the integration of clinical and financial aspect of healthcare to support strategic, tactical, and operational goals of the organization. Ultimately, “Our efforts are to benefit the member and patient”.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University.
